Our Mission
AUI's First-Year Experience (FYE) is developed by the Division of Student Affairs to help students lead a successful transition to college life and learning while engaging with the University's mission. The FYE consists of a series of course seminars and academic experiences, career workshops, and a series of events and programs throughout the first year.

The FYE events teams is dedicated to bringing you the best first year experience possible. With events ranging from the annual CUBS competition to the new addition of the CLE Hackathon — we’ve got something for everyone!
We highly encourage all first-year students to take advantage of as many events and trips as possible — it’s a fantastic way to meet new friends and build connections on campus. This is your moment to shine!
